Social media and real estate definitely go hand-in-hand. It's a great way to spread the word about a property, a great realtor, a reliable mortgage broker, etc., in a real and relatable way. It offers convenient ways to browse houses for sale in Richmond VA or to share about a home you're selling. The opportunities are endless when you mix real estate and social media, and the RVA Home Team wants to break all that down for you to see how it positively impacts Richmond VA Real Estate!

How Social Media Impacts Real Estate:

-Social Media provides a greater reach of a property for sale. We at the RVA Home Team believe that social media is a "digital word-of-mouth," and can expand the reach of a listing, so EVERYONE knows your home is for sale. With targeted advertising on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram; and shares on private and public Facebook pages, Social media is a wonderful way to broadcast a property lightning fast. It's also a fantastic way to view a property that you may be interested in buying. It definitely goes both ways for the buyer and the seller.   -Social media offers trustworthy resources for buyers and sellers. Online sites like LinkedIn and Facebook offer excellent resources for property buyers and sellers. Both are terrific for finding trustworthy Richmond VA Realtors, excellent mortgage brokers and credible articles about real estate.   -Social media offers real, behind-the-scenes footage of all things real estate. Video apps and live streaming options like Facebook Live, Periscope, and Snapchat offer real time video footage that virtually take you to places, such as home showings, open houses, property inspections and Q&As with Realtors and brokers. They also give you the chance to interact with real estate professionals in the comfort of your own home and at your convenience.   -Social media offers internal search engines. Within most social media channels, you can easily find the resources you're searching for. This means you can not only ask friends for real estate resources, but you can also find information via target hashtags and keyword searches right within those apps. This allows you to streamline your search for a property, or a Realtor, in the area you're looking to purchase.   The RVA Home Team loves social media and, we of course, would love to connect with you on any or all of our channels! We look forward to assisting you with all of your real estate needs!   RVA Home Team on Facebook RVA Home Team on LinkedIn RVA Home Team on Pinterest RVA Home Team on Snapchat RVA Home Team on Twitter

It's interesting that social media affects real estate. It makes sense that it would, since it offers footage of all kinds of things. You could show someone your home without them there!
